Cody Haltom:

I’m a designer residing in Austin, Texas, working in art direction, visual identity, illustration, print, and interactive design.

I love how you can see his work reflected on his desk. Elements of typography, graphic design and print are all visible.

Vintage Modernity:

The desk is actually a side table with a drawer from Ikea and the Jerrik chair is also from Ikea. The vintage industrial lockers are one of our favorite additions to the space.

Very characterful; the workspace manages to be minimalist whilst retaining a distinct personality.

A Very White Site:

The palette is so soothing, the perfect place to come home to after a hard day at work. It’s pleasing to the eye and comfortable yet still very modern.

A bit too sterile I think, but nonetheless it’s worth a post on the whole.

Chelsea Hing:
An interior design by Chelsea Hing. Personally it isn’t to my taste, but I’m sure many of you will like it.

A Fitting End:

This is the last entry from the Vault - I’ve reached the end of the archive from before Simple Desks was relaunched. Coincidentally it also happens to be Pat Dryburgh’s desk, who managed the site before me. I think that’s a nice end point, and I hope you like it. There are more details and images here.

I Know What Day of the Week it is:

I sit at my desk for hours a day, so it’s important to have lots of blank surfaces and not too many accessories, as it soon gets overwhelmed with jewelry-making supplies. The calendar is Stendig, the desk was made by us on Ikea legs, the rubber bowl is Neo, and the black paper basket is Siwa.

For me the most interesting bit of the desk is the ivy. It’s just as integral as the computer really.

Вы не могли бы подсказать нам, как проехать в Шереметьево?

Москвич:

Нет, но я могу вам подсказать отличную службу такси.
